Kalisha

The beautiful Kalisha Jacobson.  A good friend from my freshman year, an avid art appreciator (she works at the Springville Art Museum) and just an all around wonderful person.  Thanks for letting me shoot these doll!

Plus

Brock and his advertising team are working on a campaign for a little-known Coca-Cola product, Dasani Plus.  On Saturday we spent the day in the studio shooting for the media part of their advertising, since Coca-Cola has done nothing to promote this product.  It took us forever to even find the drink to take pictures of it!  Finally a girl in his group found three measly bottles on campus and we were able to work with that, thank goodness.  They have some really great ideas for text and slogans and things so I'm pretty sure they're gonna rock this assignment, and I was glad to help out!  Here's a sneak peek (un-touched up)!

Dancing

A diptych I did for my still-life class last semester.  It still makes me laugh.  I had so much fun alone in the studio playing dress-up with these pears.  I am still a child at heart in so many ways :)

Flora

I was sitting at home today and realized we have a lot of plants in my apartment.  I love it.  Brock was saying last night that he enjoys studying and hanging out in my apartment more than his own because there's a different "ambiance" and I think it's that my roommates and I have really tried to make our apartment a place that we all enjoy and are comfortable in!  Part of this is having plants around and it makes me so happy!  Plus, I've heard that you're supposed to have live plants in an area where you spend a lot of time because they use the carbon dioxide you give off to make more oxygen and thus, more oxygen in the bloodstream, which equals happy, healthier human beings!  Yay plants!

Lexi

Lexi Pugmire. What a hoot. I did an assignment on Childhood a few semesters ago and Nicole was nice enough to let me photograph her kids one day. This is one of my favorite shots of the day!
